Tower Bridge, completed in 1894, is one of London's most iconic landmarks. Designed architects Horace Jones and John Wolfe-Barry, it was built to ease road while allowing ships to pass through the Thames. The bridge features a unique bascule mechanism, which raises its two towers to let vessels through. Today, it stands as a symbol of London’s rich history and engineering innovation, attracting millions of visitors each year.

Waterloo Bridge is a historic and iconic structure in London, spanning the River Thames. It connects the areas of Westminster and the South Bank to the west with the City of London to the east. The bridge is named to commemorate the British victory at the Battle of Waterloo in 18152.
The current bridge, designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, was opened in 1942 during World War II and is often referred to as the "Ladies' Bridge" because many of the construction workers were women, a rarity at the time3. Its strategic location offers stunning views of landmarks like the London Eye, Westminster, and Canary Wharf.
